Who We Are?
Welcome to Roots To Wings. A space for your little prince and princess. A space where they can connect with the world of their own. A space born from a deep-rooted belief that every child has the potential to open wings and fly off.
As the founder, my vision for this centre has always been to create that space where these little explorers can open their wings. A space which is not just another school or learning centre. A space where which these explorers and learners can call their own. Where they are able to connect without any reluctance and hesitation. Where they thrive under the right support, understanding, and opportunities.
I envisioned a nurturing environment where children with varied abilities are seen, heard, and empowered. Whether a minor can receive support through occupational therapy for skill enhancement , speech and language therapy for effective communication, or remedial sessions to bridge the academic gaps, all under one roof. We are here to walk with them, hand in hand, guiding and supporting them all along their learning journey.
At Roots To Wings, we also recognize that growth does not qualify for the one-size-fits-all theory. Hence we offer an extensive and comprehensive range of services. Which range from counselling based on individualized needs to mentoring for academic support. Learning foreign language is also made available ensuring global citizenship. It’s our endeavour to ensure personalize pathway for success of every learner.

Founder
My professional journey began in the world of apparel merchandising and production management, where I earned a postgraduate degree and worked as a merchandiser. While that experience instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and attention to detail, my heart was always drawn toward children and the desire to do something more meaningful. That love for children and a deep drive to make a purposeful difference inspired me to change paths — and I’ve never looked back.
In 2013, I started my career in education as a special educator in a top-ranked IB (International Baccalaureate) school, Genesis Global school, Noida. Since then, I’ve devoted myself to understanding child development and promoting inclusive education. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism, behaviour challenges, and sensory needs, using a combination of remedial education, behavioural strategies, and IB PYP teaching techniques to support each learner holistically.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in the Management of Specific Learning Disabilities, and a Bachelor’s in Education — all of which empower me to offer evidence-based and empathetic support to both children and families.
I founded this center with one clear vision: to provide high-quality, integrated services that save families time and confusion, while ensuring children receive the early support they truly deserve. We are grounded in the values of early intervention, inclusion, holistic development, and unlocking the unique potential of every child.
I bring to my work not only professional expertise, but also resilience, self-motivation, and a deep faith in God. As a proud parent of two, I understand the hopes and concerns parents carry — and I strive to offer the same care and commitment to every family who walks through our doors.
I believe that every child deserves to be cherished, understood, and empowered to succeed — and that belief is at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s journey. I’m humbled and honored to be a part of it.

Welcome to our space—where care, connection, and capability come together.
I’m Dr. Divya Singh, a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over 19 years of hands-on experience working with children and young individuals across a wide spectrum of developmental, physical, emotional, and sensory needs. Since beginning my journey in 2006, I’ve remained deeply committed to helping children unlock their fullest potential—not only in therapy sessions, but in classrooms, homes, playgrounds, and everyday life.
Throughout my career, I’ve held leadership roles in both special education and inclusive school settings. Currently, I serve as the Senior Occupational Therapist in an inclusive IB and CBSE curriculum school, where I work closely with children, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. My areas of expertise include early intervention, neurodevelopmental delays, handwriting and motor coordination challenges, sensory processing, and behavioral and emotional regulation.
I have had the privilege of supporting children with diverse conditions such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, hemiparesis, muscular dystrophy, learning disabilities, and more. I firmly believe that no two children are the same, and that every therapy journey should be as unique, meaningful, and empowering as the child themselves.
My practice is rooted in empathy, enriched by internationally recognized certifications in Brain Gym®, MNRI® (Reflex Integration), Therapeutic Listening®, Handwriting Without Tears®, Play Therapy, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEE Learning). I seamlessly integrate these methods into individualized, goal-oriented therapy plans that support functional growth and emotional well-being while involving and empowering families every step of the way.
What inspires me the most are the small yet powerful breakthroughs—a child holding a pencil more confidently, regaining balance, making eye contact, initiating a conversation, or simply smiling with a sense of achievement. These moments, though often quiet, are the milestones that shape brighter futures.
If you are looking for support with your child’s motor skills, sensory integration, emotional resilience, or school participation, I am here to walk this journey with you—with dedication, compassion, and a deep belief in your child’s potential.
Together, let’s build stronger, happier, and more independent futures—one milestone at a time.
Psychologist
With over 7 years of experience in the field of mental health, I am Akanksha, a passionate psychologist and an alumna of the prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. My journey in psychology began with a deep curiosity to understand the human mind, and over the years, it has evolved into a committed practice of helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological landscapes with empathy and insight.
Since starting my professional journey in 2018, I have had the privilege of working across diverse settings, including drug and behavioral rehabilitation centers, where I supported individuals struggling with addiction, gaming and screen dependency, and associated psychological challenges. My core experience lies in working with children and adolescents, particularly in academic settings, and I currently serve as a school psychologist at a leading IB school in Noida.
I have extensively worked with issues such as anxiety disorders, clinical depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), academic anxiety, suicidal ideation and attempts, among others. My work with adults spans complex conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, self-harm, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), postpartum depression, grief, and more.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, Existential Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy—tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of my clients.
At the heart of my practice is a belief in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can unfold naturally.
